Why is this study being offered to me?

We are asking you to take part in a research study because you indicated that you had a Twitter account and accessed this account through your computer/laptop.

Are there any costs to participation?

You will not have to pay for taking part in this study.

Will I be paid for participation?

As this is a pilot, you will not be paid for participation.

How will you keep my data safe and private?

All the data we collect will be anonymous. Only the researchers involved in this study and those responsible for research oversight (such as representatives of the Yale University Human Research Protection Program, the Yale University Institutional Review Boards, and other Yale University offices who oversee research) will have access to any information that could identify you.

The data you provide may appear in anonymized data sets that we post to public repositories. When we publish the results of this research or discuss it with others, we will not use your name.
